Delete pages from a PDF

Drop a PDF here or choose one. Select the pages you don't need, delete them, then save a new PDF.

  • Pick pages by thumbnail or by number, like 2-5, 9
  • Undo any deletion
  • Your PDF stays on your device

Use the left and right arrow keys to move between pages, Delete to delete the page you're on, and + or − to zoom.

100%

Some pages just have to go: a blank scan, a duplicate cover sheet, an internal note that cannot go out with the rest. Pick them by clicking or by typing their numbers, delete them, and Undo brings back any you did not mean to remove. Then save the pages you keep as a new PDF, all in this browser tab.

Nothing leaves your device

The PDF is read and rewritten by your own browser. There is no upload step and no server copy, so the only file that moves is the one you download.

Click pages or type their numbers

Every page appears as a thumbnail with its original page number. Click the pages you want gone, or type a list such as 2-5, 9 to select them all at once, then delete them in one step.

Undo any deletion, keep your original

A deleted page leaves the grid at once and Undo brings it back, so trying things costs nothing. The pages you keep go into a new file, yourfile-deleted.pdf, and the PDF on your disk is never changed.

How to delete pages from a PDF

  1. Open your PDF

Drop the file onto the page or pick it from your device. Every page appears as a thumbnail labelled with its page number, and nothing is selected yet.

  2. Delete the pages you don't need

Click each page you want gone, or type their numbers, such as 2-5, 9, then choose Delete. The pages leave the grid straight away, the count shows how many you are keeping, and Undo brings back any you did not mean to remove.

  3. Save the trimmed file

Press Create my PDF and scroll through the preview to check every page. Download it as yourfile-deleted.pdf or under a name of your own, or choose Back to editing if a page still needs to go.

Delete PDF pages FAQs

How many pages can I delete at once?

As many as you like in one go, as long as one page stays. Select them in the grid or type their numbers, then delete them together. PDFs of up to 1,500 pages can be opened here, and file size is limited only by your device's memory.

Can I type page numbers instead of clicking?

Yes. Type single pages and ranges, such as 1, 4-6, 12-20, and those pages are selected, ready to delete. The numbers always refer to the original PDF, so page 9 is still page 9 after you have removed the pages before it.

Can I delete every page in the PDF?

No. A PDF with zero pages is not a valid file, so the last remaining page cannot be deleted, however you select it. If you do not need the document at all, delete the file itself.

Can I get a deleted page back?

Yes, while the PDF is still open here: Undo puts the page back. Use the toolbar, the Undo button in the message that appears after each deletion, or Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on a Mac); your last 50 changes can be undone. The PDF you download is built without the page, not with it hidden inside, and your original file is never changed.

How do I keep only a few pages?

Select every page, click the ones you want to keep so they drop out of the selection, then delete the rest in one step. If it is easier to name the pages you are keeping, pull them out as their own file instead. Extract PDF Pages

Does removing pages affect the pages I keep?

The content of the pages you keep is carried across unchanged: same text, same images, same resolution. Nothing is re-compressed and no watermark is added.

Are bookmarks and form fields kept?

No. The new file is built from the pages you keep, so document-wide extras stay behind: bookmarks, custom page labels, and the title and author in the file's properties. Form fields may no longer be fillable, and some links to other pages may stop working, including every link to a page you deleted. The content of each page you keep is copied unchanged.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is opened and rewritten inside your browser and never reaches a server. That means confidential documents can be trimmed without leaving your machine.
