Some PDFs arrive with real form fields; others just need your name at the bottom. This tool does both: it finds the fields your document already has, and it places a signature you draw, type or upload wherever you want it. The file is read and rewritten in your browser.

Your file stays local

The PDF is opened and rewritten inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server, there is no file size ceiling, and no watermark lands on the export.

Existing fields, filled in place

Text boxes, checkboxes, radio groups, dropdowns and option lists are detected when the file opens, so you work through the real form instead of guessing at coordinates.

Draw, type or upload

Sign with a mouse, trackpad or finger, type your name in one of four typefaces between 10 and 60 px, or bring in a PNG, JPEG or WebP and resize it.

How to fill and sign a PDF

  1. Open the PDF

Choose your file. Any form fields it already contains are detected as the document loads and listed for you to work through in order.

  2. Fill in the fields

Type into the text boxes, tick the checkboxes, and for a radio group, dropdown or option list enter the option you want. The values are written back into the real fields.

  3. Sign and export

Pick Draw, Type or Upload, choose one page or every page, then drag and resize the signature into position. The download is named filename-signed.pdf.

Fill and Sign PDF FAQs

Is this signature legally valid?

It is the on-screen equivalent of signing a printout: an image or line of text placed on the page. There is no certificate, timestamp or audit trail, so whether that is enough depends on the document and where you are. For a verified signature, use a dedicated signing service.

What if my PDF has no form fields?

Then there is nothing to fill in — the pages are flat, which is normal for anything scanned or exported. You can still place a signature anywhere on them, and Type mode will stamp short entries such as a name or a date.

Can I draw my signature by hand?

Yes. Draw mode accepts a mouse, a trackpad or a finger on a touchscreen, and Clear wipes the pad when the first attempt looks wrong. The drawing goes onto the page as an image.

Can I sign every page of the document?

Yes. The Sign on picker puts the signature on one chosen page or repeats it across all of them, which helps when a contract has to be initialled page by page. Position and size carry over.

Does signing lock the PDF against changes?

No. The export is an ordinary PDF: the values sit in the form fields and the signature is page content. Anyone with an editor can alter it, just as they could reprint a paper form and sign it again. Flatten PDF

Why does a field say not supported yet?

Text, checkbox, radio, dropdown and option-list fields are handled. Anything more unusual is marked not supported yet and left exactly as it was, so the rest of the form still fills in and exports normally.

Does my document get uploaded anywhere?

No. Reading the PDF, filling the fields and writing the signed copy all happen in your browser, and no account is needed. That matters when the form carries an address, a bank detail or your signature.
